DECK

A leader in safety, all Yellowfin Plate Boats are built standard with an auto-drain deck and fully sealed, no-return scupper system. The Auto Drain Deck expels water quickly and efficiently from the hull with a rear gutter which guides excess water to a lower chamber ready to be pumped out. Separate to the underfloor bilge pump, the Auto Drain Deck delivers another layer of safety.

Building on the success of the Southerner Range, the Extended Cabin features the next generation of hull design in the HD-R Hull and Inter-Lok core, delivering a more robust, stronger design with increased stability, handling, and responsiveness. Optimised for offshore conditions, the Inter-Lok core features 2 full-height stringers, 8 full-length one-piece stringers, and interlocking gibs for utmost strength and durability. Strength comes from within thanks to the Inter-Lok core setting a strong foundation, ready to take on the unpredictable offshore conditions.

MARINE CORE

CONSTRUCTION

It’s what’s under the floor that makes Yellowfin Plate Boats some of the toughest on the market. The entire range is built with an internal subframe, milk crate structure of longitudinal and latitudinal ribs designed to reinforce strength and help shape the hull. Each boat is constructed with vertical stringers each being 6mm thick and 5mm horizontal ribs for maximum strength, and completed with a fully-welded plate floor. To provide additional support to the self-draining floor, a box section floor frame is also fitted. Using extrusion specifically designed for marine products the chine and the keel are not simply welded but reinforced by a total of 4 welds performed by an expert technician. Constructed with up to 6mm plate bottom sheets of marine grade aluminium and 4mm topsides the Yellowfin Plate Range is built for serious fishing.

Experience the epitome of open water performance with the all-new Yellowfin exclusive, HD-R Hull. Building on the success of the industry-leading Offshore HD Hull, the HD-R Hull incorporates the strategically engineered design and takes it to another level. Refined planing strakes and an overhauled cabin structure achieves an improved centre of gravity, enhancing overall performance. Whilst an updated sub-frame structure delivers increased strength. The Offshore HD-R Hull exclusively features on the Extended Cabin range.

Majority of the Yellowfin Plate Boat range comes standard with a fully sealed, checker-plate floor, for its anti-rust, anti-skid, and easy clean properties. Every floor structure is reinforced with a box-section frame for additional strength, while the self-draining mechanism ensures that water is quickly expelled from the deck.

MATTING

An all-new feature exclusively incorporated into the new Yellowfin Extended Cabin range, is EVA Matting. Delivering added comfort, reduced vibration, and reflection, the flooring compliments the completely overhauled model design; bringing a new level of fit and finish to the market. The quality and finesse of the range is maintained and controlled in house with the flooring specially cut and fitted to each boat in the Yellowfin factory. The matting is fitted atop a fully welded, self-draining plate floor.
